What equipment is required for a hand-washing basin that complies with regulations?

Regulations require the use of hand-washing facilities for the hygiene of handlers:

The basin must be made of smooth, impact-resistant, rot-proof material that's easy to clean and disinfect. Stainless steel basins are a perfect match. There are no size restrictions.

Water must be tempered. The water temperature must be suitable for degreasing the hands, but must not scald the operator.

The water control system must not be operable by hand. Non-manual controls are therefore required (sensor cells, knee control, foot control, etc.).

A soap dispenser must be installed in the immediate vicinity. Soap must be bactericidal and active against the most common bacteria.

A hygienic hand-wiping system is required. Clean, single-use hand towels are mandatory in production areas.

We advise you to buy soap dispensers with handwashers for better washing and disinfection.
